I never dreamed of being anything in my childhood, but all life circumstances led me to the business I am successfully doing now, and without which I cannot imagine my life at all.
When I first started sewing clothes for kitchen staff, I came across a terrible stereotype that a cook is a man “behind the wall” who wears always dirty, grease-soaked overalls.
And it did not fit in my head at all, because I saw chefs who were real stars. These cool men and women spoke 5-6 languages, were fond of sports and music, and created unimaginable miracles in their kitchens.
At that moment, I firmly decided that I would sew such products for them that no one would ever use the word “overalls”. After all, it’s important to feel confident and comfortable in the kitchen, just like at an official reception or, for example, in a TV studio. The chef must be protected from fire, boiling water, and all kinds of sources of dirt, and he should not be ashamed to go out to people in the restaurant and introduce himself when the occasion calls for it.
Literally overnight, I drew a logo for the current i-CHEF company and clearly defined the principles by which I would work.
In addition, I can confidently say that each of our items has a unique design. I’m all for uniqueness and I really don’t like plagiarism. Yes, no one can reinvent the wheel. But just imagine how many variations of anything can be made!
We never run out of ideas, and that’s why i-CHEF has become a clothing brand that creates style in the art of cooking!
